What could Philomela do? or the Nightingale: 2020/21

Inspired in equal parts by Philomela's story (from Ovid), Vasarely's graphic alphabet codes (seen at the Vancouver Art Gallery in 2020) a sound track received in early Covid days from Italy from Julie H. and my own bird watching in Stanley Park during our strange spring of 2020.

Weaving Cultural identities: Threads Through Time. 2018/19
between 2018-19, Mary Lou Trinkwon and I were were part of 2 large projects that brought together weavers and designer from  different cultural backgrounds. Organized by the Vancouver Biennale, both projects are currently touring across the Canada.
