Jacquard work in progress Inspired in equal parts by Philomela's story (from Ovid), Vasareli's graphic alphabet codes (seen at the Vancouver art Gallery in 2020) a sound track received in early Covid days from Italy from Julie H. and my own bird watching in Stanley Park during our strange spring 2020 and least but not least a whole bunch of experimenting with new weave structures at my studio at makerlabs, in Vancouver. |
